MT MARTHA PROJECT - BROOKS

This large project's brief was to include a swimming pool and spa, extend the existing first floor deck to allow alfresco living to optimise  the stunning view looking over Port Philip Bay from Arthur's Seat to The Heads and beyond.

Given the steep topography of the existing block, a series of decks and terraces where incorporated to make the unusable front garden visually interesting yet functional.

Due to the site's coastal locale, an early design requirement was that the timber should age naturally and the planting palette be in keeping with the surrounding coastal flora with a bent towards simple low maintenance xerophytic planting.

We also put in a new driveway, retaining walls and a triple carport at the rear of the property.

CAULFIELD SOUTH PROJECT

This large project, covering two suburban blocks included the complete design and landscaping of all external spaces.

This work included the construction of a pool, tennis court, front and side courtyards, double drive and an al fresco living and entertaining area (designated by a raised deck and pergola).

This contemporary design was done in sympathy with the new home being constructed on the site.

MT MARTHA - MAUDE PROJECT

This large project, comprised the construction of an el-fresco extention to the existing house, as well as a seperate out building which houses a large sauna , bathroom, spare bedroom / indoor outdoor kitchen. It also included a large new deck wood fired oven and Russian / Uzbek cooking facilities with a neighbouring large day bed.

The area was constructed aroungd a new 15m swimming pool and existing tennis court. We built this project in partrnership with Hanns build, the initial design being by COS.

HAWTHORN PROJECT

This large project involved the complete design of all exterior spaces for an exclusive period home.

These works included the front garden, pedestrian pathway, driveway, side garden and a rear garden to include a large swimming pool, gazebo, deck and childrens play equipment area.

The brief was that the design respect the home's architectural style, yet be simple and functional with a modern aesthetic at the rear. The back garden needed to cater for a brood of young boys, hence the soccer pitch play area and swimming pool.
