CAULFIELD PROJECT - SLIDESHOW

This project in Caulfield included the design of a new swimming pool and surrounding landscape.
The client's brief was for the design to be simple, modern and sleek but complement the existing 'french provincial' style home.
We also had to accomodate a large water tank which was screened off using spotted gum battens.
The design also included an inground trampoline and the renovation of the outdoor entretaining / dining area.

MELBOURNE POOL & OUDOORS
MT MARTHA PROJECT

This project in the Mornington Peninsula suburb of Mt Martha, involved the construction of the front garden and driveway for a large existing home.
The steep slope towards the front entrance was controlled using a series of terraces and battered garden beds. Retaining walls, stairs and decking allowed the redefinition of the slope to become a visually interesting yet functional garden.
BRIGHTON PROJECT

This project involved the complete redesign and redevelopment of the rear garden which included an existing partially out of the ground concrete pool.
We encorporated a new pergola with a tranquil water wall and pond to provide a peaceful atmosphere to dine outdoors.
The client brief was to retain the existing swimming pool, yet try to make it more practical to use and for the new garden to compliment the existing garden.
The design was to be simple and functional whilst respecting the existing house's architecture.
KALARU PROJECT - NEW SOUTH WALES

This large project located on a large land holding on the pristine southern Saphire coast in NSW is surrounded by National Park overlooking a fresh water lake.
Working with the esteemed architect Michael Marshman, and with the client's brief, we designed a completely native garden to attract local fauna whilst being low maintenance. The swathes of planting where deliberately chosen to create visual interest as the colours and textures intertwined in a naturalistic free-form manner.
Using locally sourced rocks, 'outcrops' and terraces were created which broke up the original flat sloped site cut. This created visual interest as well as created niche's for local fauna.
