ARMADALE PROJECT
This SPASA award winning project involved the installation of a new fibreglass swimming pool, the design of the surrounding landscape and front garden. The client's brief was to attempt to create a 'Contemporary Balinese' inspired garden which was peaceful and would compliment their modern home.
The design was to provided a seemless transition from the interior to exterior of their home through new bi-folding doors to an
al fresco dining area which in turn was linked to the swimming pool enclosure.

GLEN IRIS PROJECT​
This project was undertaken at the same time this historic home was being modernised. The client brief was to include a swimming pool which you looked out on from the internal living area and kitchen.
To maximised the visual impact of the pool we incorporated a bluestone water feature which is uplit through the water at night. The brief also included an-alfresco dining area to accomodate a large party. This was acheived by designing an 'L' shaped built in seat with back rest connecting to a stainless steel BBQ and sink. The al fresco area was kept intimate by the construction of a simple white pergola above it.

ST KILDA EAST PROJECT​
This project was unique in that the clients brief was to design a pool area which was not only contemporary to complement there new large townhouse, but to cater for the specific needs of their handicapped child.
As a consequence we designed the pool with a large shallow platform, ramp up the side of the pool hidden behind a raised garden bed and a generous 'daybed' with collapsable back rests to accomodate their needs. We also included a built-in bench with back-rest to accomodate a large party. This bench intergrated with a stainless steel BBQ.
The pool equipment was hidden under the upper deck, whilst a water curtain provided a relief of 'white' noise to counter the sound of traffic.
CAULFIELD SOUTH PROJECT

The client brief for this project was to create a tranquil space using natural materials combined with a planting scheme using existing vegetation and new plants which would be predominantly native to attract birds.
A large pergola provides respite from the sun and intimacy for the owner who enjoys working outdoors as a semi-retired writer.
The long sunbed allows two people to enjoy it whilst listening to the soothing sound of the custom built water wall.
